WOW not only are your plants top notch but so are your photography!

Thanks for the share. D van Zylii is freely for sale here in SA but I like to cultivate my own. There is no better way to get to know a plantvthan to grow it from seed.

That's exactly how it is. Also, I noticed that the purchased plants are not really mine. And the sowing is always very interesting and exciting and makes me personally a lot of fun 8-)

Suculentia, nice photos, as so often! Mostly I like them too, even if the red background is not always appropriate 8-)

Some feedback on my 1st try. Had al good look again today. At least 15 seedlings germinated. The next try I will use smaler gravel as the 4-5mm I used this time hides the seedlings in such a way that I need magnifying glases to look for the young. I think pool filter sand will be my next option.

I bought a complete capsule with seeds. I will plant at least another 2-3 pots as the season goes on.

Congratulations for this success!
When do you start the next sowing? 8-)

Bit closer to autum. I understand that over here they do better if sowed around March/April. But I do think I will try another pot maybe in Jan or Feb just to compare and see for myself.
